Hi, I’m Lauren
A mental health counselor offering services in Seattle, Washington. I have a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a BA in Business Administration, Marketing. I spent many years working in corporate retail, hospitality, restaurants and events. I am a plant lover, coffee drinker, cake baker and someone who knows what it’s like to feel a little outside of things.
I’ve always been drawn to the quiet, in-between moments. The fuzzy, tender places where things feel hard to name - like grief that lingers beneath the surface, identity that doesn’t fit neatly into boxes, or a longing to feel a deeper sense of home within yourself.
I’ve spent much of my life exploring identity, belonging, and the quiet ache of grief.
That’s why I do this work. Not to “fix” or rush you to answers - but to create the kind of space I needed myself: one that’s warm, curious, and safe enough to explore all the parts of yourself.
My Approach
Therapy with me is relational, thoughtful, and noticing the tiny moments. A space to slow down, be human, and feel your way back to yourself. My lived experience impacts how I show up in the therapy room: with deep care, the belief that you are the expert of your own life and that healing doesn’t require perfection - it just asks for presence.
I hold deep respect for your inner wisdom and trust that you already carry so much of what you need inside you. My approach is grounded in the things that shape us: attachment, identity, culture, community, grief, and the systems we live within. I pull from holistic approaches to therapy, including attachment-based, somatic practices, and internal family systems. I see you as a whole person because who you are, how you move through the world, and the systems you live within matter.
Outside of sessions:
You’ll likely find me hanging out with friends and family, exploring new neighborhood spots, getting in some movement, playing tennis with my partner, cooking up new recipes with my dinner club and watching a new tv series (please tell me what you’re watching, reading, listening to!)
